TEWKSBURY – Mr. Albert E. Shagoury, 93, passed away Monday, October 30th, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus.
Born on April 17, 1924 in Natick, Massachusetts, a son of the late Richard and Mary (Gatteny) Shagoury.
Albert lived his early years in Natick and was educated through the Natick Schools. He owned and operated Albert E. Shagoury General Contracting Company for over 50 years, serving families in the Greater Boston area. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra (Burhoe) Shagoury; his son, Steven Shagoury and his wife Rosalba of Florida; his son, James Shagoury of Tewksbury; his daughter, Loretta Lamoureux and her husband Jonathan of Tewksbury; his son, Paul Shagoury of Somerville; his daughter Mary Jean Shagoury of New Hampshire and his two brothers Abraham and Paul B Shagoury of Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Albert was predeceased by four beloved children: three sons, Richard Elias Shagoury, Charles Shagoury, and Lawrence Shagoury; his daughter, Mary L. Shagoury; his brother, Charles Shagoury; his brother, George Shagoury; his sister, Alice Luongo (Shagoury); his sister, Josephine Bent (Shagoury); his brother, James Shagoury; his brother, Michael Shagoury; his sister, Pauline Logan Bouchard (Shagoury); and his brother, Robert Shagoury.
SHAGOURY – Visiting hours were on Monday morning, November 6th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the TEWKSBURY FUNERAL HOME, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rt38), TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800), or in MA, (978) 851-2950.
